Sweater season has arrived! My wardrobe really lacks sweaters so when I saw this one on Eluxe for such a great price I wanted to scoop it up. (Though it appears to have sold out now!) I've been noticing this v-neck varsity style popping up quite a bit lately and I'm really loving it! To be honest, I really thought this sweater was gray/black online, so when it arrived I was pretty surprised to see a navy blue sweater. I was a little bit disappointed at first, but it pairs really well with denim and I suppose it pushes me out of my gray/black comfort zone. I love the oversized fit though, it's a super comfy throw-on piece!
Did you all enjoy your weekends? Mine was super low key. My fella was thousands of miles away in California for the week for work, so it was a very quiet week around here, and I decided to take advantage of my time alone and spend the weekend in relaxing, watching movies, giving myself a little at home mani/pedi and cooking up a big sweet potato black bean quinoa chili. It was nice but I am more than ready to greet my guy at the airport tonight!
That is such a cool sweater. I've been eyeing a similar one on Nasty Gal. A navy and then a white version which I can't decide on. Maybe navy is the way to go then?!

I love the varsity look, so I really loved the sneak peak I saw earlier today on Instagram. It does look black in the photos to me, so I understand you'd be a bit surprised by that. Navy is a great colour, so hopefully this helps you branch out a bit :)
