Polyvore New Year's Fashion Resolution Contest!

Okay friends, it's polyvore time! If you've been with me for a long time, you might remember me participating in this challenge before. When I got an email saying they were hosting another one, I was eager to start playing! This is incredibly addicting, I hope you love it!

So here's the deal! Below you'll see a Polyvore mini editor with 100 items that I've hand picked for you to create outfits out of! It's basically like the internet version of paperdolls. Just drag & drop (you can resize, and move items from front to back) and create AS MANY OUTFITS AS POSSIBLE.

Don't forget to hit the 'publish' button when you've finished each outfit!

Polyvore will pick the winning blog based on how many outfits are created, and the overall quality/aesthetic! If  my blog wins, I get to pick my favorite outfit that was created on my mini editor, and that person (along with myself!) will each get $500! Easy peasy! Get creating!

Holiday Dressing - Part One!

This coming weekend I'm attending my first Christmas party of the season (a bit early yes, but it's the fella's office party) so it's high time we start talking about the obvious - party outfits!

I don't know about you, but December is already filling up quickly, and it excites me to no end! Not only is it filled with fun festivities, wonderful people, and copious amounts of wine, but it also means endless opportunities to dress up! Over the next couple weeks I'm going to feature various themed party outfits, in hopes that you'll find some inspiration for the upcoming season!

Polyvore Fall Wardrobe Styling Challenge!

I'm generally not one to jump on the bandwagon for blog gimmicks, but trust me when I say this one is really, really fun! I started playing with it on other blogs and decided I'd like to create my own!

SO! Here's the scoop. Polyvore has released it's new Mini Editor Widget and is giving one blogger AND one of their readers $1000 each through their Fall Wardrobe Styling Challenge!

All you have to do is create outfits in the window below with the 100 items I've personally picked out and click the publish button. The more outfits you create, the better! You can log in using either your polyvore account or your facebook account!

The winning blog will be based 50% on how many sets are submitted (so make as many beautiful outfits as possible!) and 50% on style & aesthetics. The winning blog will get to choose their favorite set created by one of their readers, and that reader will also receive $1000!
