On our 2nd day in London, we visited the Boohoo showroom. It was a bright and airy loft space filled with so many of their pretty pieces! We chatted with the girls in the showroom about the clothes & the company, and I fell in love with a few of the dresses. After the showroom we went out for a lovely lunch and chatted about UK vs. Canadian sayings/slang and I had the best risotto of life. 

I wore my one & only London purchase - this neon yellow lace skater skirt I picked up at Topshop! I was determined to buy something in London but was overwhelmed by the shops and couldn't make any decisions! I told myself to incorporate more color into my spring wardrobe and I definitely accomplished that with this skirt! I can't wait to pair it with bright whites this summer!

London, Day One

As I mentioned briefly on Saturday, I had the amazing opportunity to travel to the UK this past week with Boohoo.com and NKPR! It was a complete whirlwind; I got to learn about Boohoo, one of the UK's biggest online retailers, check out the gorgeous sights of London and Manchester, and meet some of my favorite fellow Canadian bloggers, Jen, Alicia and Elizabeth. 

I flew overnight on Monday and arrived in London Tuesday morning, and while feeling a little crazy and disheveled, had to take the opportunity to roam around the city on our first day. We had the afternoon to ourselves before meeting up for dinner with the whole crew, so I wandered around with Jen & Alicia, taking in the sights and doing a bit of shopping. I can't get over how beautiful the city is! I can't wait to go back someday! Following dinner I took my jet-lagged self to bed in my amazing hotel room at Dorset Square - seriously, how gorgeous was my headboard?! I'm completely in love.

 After seeing so many bloggers participate in blogger meetups & conferences, we on the east coast finally had our chance this past weekend! On Friday afternoon, Kristin & I hopped in her car and headed to Halifax for the weekend for an East Coast Fashion Blogger meet-up! After our 4 hour drive, we quickly primped in the car and then nervously rang the doorbell at the home of the lovey miss Jessica of Haute Halifax! We were greeted by a room full of gorgeous, smiling friendly faces and wine-a-plenty!

Saturday morning was the more official conference-y portion of the weekend, hosted at The Middle Spoon dessert bar. I was asked to be key note speaker (ack!) which went well (I think?) and the girls asked lots of great questions! After an afternoon of shopping, we met back up for dinner at The Carleton, followed by drinks at La Trinidad! 

Sunday morning we had our wrap up brunch at Two If By Sea cafe, where we indulged in buttery baked goods and chatted & then took a million photos out in the sunshine! I didn't want to bombard you with too many photos so I tried to pick some of my favorites! (& Thanks to Erin for photos 2, 5 & 10!)

The whole weekend was so incredible and I loved meeting so many amazing ladies! Big love to Jess & Erin, Sorren, Kayla, Kristin, Candice, Mo, Tosan, Meghan & Krista, Barb, Chelsea, Ashley, Libby and Danna! Phew!
