5 Gorgeous Canadian Instagram Accounts to Follow!

I'm sure I'm not alone when I say I am pretty in love with instagram. I love scrolling through to see gorgeous photos and major inspiration on a daily basis. It's been well over a year since I did my last 5 Fashion Instagrammers to Follow so I thought it was time to share 5 more of my favorites, who this time all happen to be fellow Canadians!

@crazystylelove - Jenny is the girl behind the beautiful fashion blog Crazy Style Love and her instagram account is one of the prettiest out there! Her arrangements are seriously impressive and her photos are always bright, cheery and very on trend. 

@notyourstandard - Kayla is a Canadian currently living in Berlin and is the blogger behind Not Your Standard. Kayla's instagram account is full of personal style, decor inspiration, healthy recipes and will make you want to go to the gym, stat. Kayla herself is simply stunning and her instagram reflects that perfectly!

@krystin_lee - Krystin runs one of my favorite personal style blogs, Suburban Faux-Pas. Both her blog and her instagram are full of bows, glitter, peonies and all things ultra feminine! She also shares glimpses of her beautiful home (white marble with gold accents, anyone?) and is a constant source of inspiration for me! 

@stephsterjovski - Stephanie Sterjovski runs a life & style blog by the same name, as well as her stationary shop, SS Print Shop. She is a woman of many talents, and has a serious eye for style. 

@doctorscloset - Monika runs a lifestyle blog called The Doctor's Closet and also runs a beautiful little online shop. Monika's account gives a true glimpse into her life, including her personal style, her amazingly beautiful home and office, and maybe the world's cutest baby!

Fall Inspiration: Plaid

The minute fall arrives, my love of plaid & tartan multiplies! There's something so cozy, festive, nostalgic & timeless about plaid, and it just feels oh so appropriate for the season. I've rounded up a few of my favorite plaid looks from the depths of pinterest to share with you today! I recently scooped up this amazingly giant tartan scarf from Zara, and am on the hunt for a few more plaid/tartan button ups as well!

London, Day One

As I mentioned briefly on Saturday, I had the amazing opportunity to travel to the UK this past week with Boohoo.com and NKPR! It was a complete whirlwind; I got to learn about Boohoo, one of the UK's biggest online retailers, check out the gorgeous sights of London and Manchester, and meet some of my favorite fellow Canadian bloggers, Jen, Alicia and Elizabeth. 

I flew overnight on Monday and arrived in London Tuesday morning, and while feeling a little crazy and disheveled, had to take the opportunity to roam around the city on our first day. We had the afternoon to ourselves before meeting up for dinner with the whole crew, so I wandered around with Jen & Alicia, taking in the sights and doing a bit of shopping. I can't get over how beautiful the city is! I can't wait to go back someday! Following dinner I took my jet-lagged self to bed in my amazing hotel room at Dorset Square - seriously, how gorgeous was my headboard?! I'm completely in love.

A Little London Preview!

My heart is so full right now. What a week it has been! I took a very last minute trip to London and Manchester this week thanks to NKPR and Boohoo.com and had such an amazing time! I got to meet some truly incredible people, including gorgeous fellow Canadian bloggers Jen of Her Waise Choice, Alicia of Alicia Fashionista, and Elizabeth of Elizabeth Victoria Clark. 

I can't wait to share more of my adventures with you, but you can check out my instagram for more sneak peaks! I'm back home now and looking forward to a restful weekend after my whirlwind UK visit!

These photos make me think of fall more than they do spring, but a blustery gray day calls for layers! I paired my red dress from Onze (last seen here) with my leopard print coat (last seen here) for a classic, feminine & cozy look!

Red Carpet Style

As I mentioned, this past weekend I went to Halifax to visit my sisters! While I was there, the gorgeous Libby of House of Winchester hosted a red carpet/oscar themed party for my sister's birthday, and when the super talented Jen of Partridge Photography set up a photobooth, Libby and I scooted in for a quick blogger pic! ;) Excuse my belt gone askew and hunched stance. ;) Overall a super fun night with some super fun girls! (and plenty of vino...)

Instant new friends! The first night with Erin, Sorren & Kristin!

 After seeing so many bloggers participate in blogger meetups & conferences, we on the east coast finally had our chance this past weekend! On Friday afternoon, Kristin & I hopped in her car and headed to Halifax for the weekend for an East Coast Fashion Blogger meet-up! After our 4 hour drive, we quickly primped in the car and then nervously rang the doorbell at the home of the lovey miss Jessica of Haute Halifax! We were greeted by a room full of gorgeous, smiling friendly faces and wine-a-plenty!

Saturday morning was the more official conference-y portion of the weekend, hosted at The Middle Spoon dessert bar. I was asked to be key note speaker (ack!) which went well (I think?) and the girls asked lots of great questions! After an afternoon of shopping, we met back up for dinner at The Carleton, followed by drinks at La Trinidad! 

Sunday morning we had our wrap up brunch at Two If By Sea cafe, where we indulged in buttery baked goods and chatted & then took a million photos out in the sunshine! I didn't want to bombard you with too many photos so I tried to pick some of my favorites! (& Thanks to Erin for photos 2, 5 & 10!)

The whole weekend was so incredible and I loved meeting so many amazing ladies! Big love to Jess & Erin, Sorren, Kayla, Kristin, Candice, Mo, Tosan, Meghan & Krista, Barb, Chelsea, Ashley, Libby and Danna! Phew!
