Transition To Fall

Was my last outfit post really 11 days ago? Whoooops. Thanks for hanging in there, guys. Those last weeks of summer proved to be completely uninspired and I was feeling like I had worn every piece of summer clothing over & over again. Now that the temps have dropped significantly, it's time to break out some older fall pieces, and start to bring some new pieces into rotation! 

This was an outfit consisting of mostly older pieces that I wore to work this week, with the exception of the shoes & necklace. You've seen the shoes on here once before, and I've been trying to break them in little by little so I can wear them to a couple of events coming up this fall! They are definitely comfy as far as heels go, I just want to get to a place where I can dance all night in them and they won't bother me. 

The necklace was a sweet gift from Sterling Forever, and while I've worn it a couple times this summer, it hadn't made it onto the blog yet. I'm excited to pair it with a cozy ivory or light gray sweater this fall - it will be the perfect touch of sparkle on top of a cozy knit!
