When I'm getting dressed for holiday gatherings, I always have two conflicting thoughts. First, that it's the holidays and if there's ever a time to overboard on glitz & sparkle, this is it. But then, I always have that slight bit of worry of either being too dressed up OR feeling silly for exposing too much skin when it's -20 outside. Enter the perfect LBD to balance it all out - it's basic, it's long sleeved, it's relatively cozy and warm, but it's made of velvet which gives it just enough of that holiday glamour!
